NEWPORT COAST — Jack Percival, Kavi Sakraney and Eric Cheng scored two goals each for the Lightning, who scored all their goals in the first half in the Academy League game Wednesday.

Dakshin Jandhyala also scored, while Cheng, Anthony Gil and Ahmed Eltamami were credidted with an assist each for Sage Hill (5-4-1, 4-1-0 in league).

Goalkeepers Mason Weinstein (first half) and Adam Ellington (second half) teamed up for the Lightning’s third consecutive shutout.

Sage Hill plays host to Oxford Academy Friday at 5 p.m.

CORONA DEL MAR — Jack Nowack scored two goals for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League game Wednesday.

Connor Roche had two assists and one goal, while Jake Maxwell contributed one assist for CdM (4-6-2, 4-1 in league).

Goalie Gavin Allen made five saves for the Sea Kings, who play host to Northwood Friday at 3:15 p.m.

NEWPORT BEACH — Kevin Gomez, Christian Ochoa and Johnny Arroyo scored a goal each for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Wednesday.

Henry Ramirez and Mario Gonzalez each had an assist and goalie Rudy Reyes made five saves for Newport Harbor (9-8-3, 2-3-0 in league).

COSTA MESA — Aubry Hill had four assists, three goals and three steals and drew three ejections for the Mustangs in the Orange Coast League game Wednesday.

Kellie Thorsness scored five goals and goalie Kaitlyn Hill had 10 saves, two assists and three steals. Lauren Smith had two goals and three steals and Claudine Le added two goals.
