SANTA ANA — Freshman Alondra Guzman scored on a header with 10 minutes left to help the Eagles win the Orange Coast League game Tuesday.

Senior team captain Heather Flores recorded the assist for Estancia (6-7-3, 1-1-1 in league), which outshot Saddleback, 30-1.

Flores, a four-year varsity starter, has verbally committed to play at Cal State San Marcos, Coach Jessica Perry said.

The Eagles will play host to Calvary Chapel Thursday at 4:45 p.m.

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Josie Jogwe and Jill Messersmith scored in overtime for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Tuesday.

Matilda Higman and Jenna Castillo had the assists.

Los Alamitos 65, Newport Harbor 9

NEWPORT BEACH — Alberto Ramirez and Ben Nordstrom were the lone winners for the Sailors in Sunset League action Tuesday.

Ramirez won, 6-4, at 132 pounds, while Nordstrom recorded a pin in 5:53 at 160 pounds for Newport Harbor (8-6, 0-3 in league).

CORONA DEL MAR — Karléh Wilson scored 19 points for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League Tuesday.

Katie Scott had seven points and five steals for CdM (9-10, 1-3 in league).

HUNTINGTON BEACH — Kasey Thompson had 13 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and two steals for the Sailors in the Sunset League game Tuesday.

Kirsten Rohan had six points, two assists and one steal for Newport Harbor (7-13, 0-4 in league).

Nancy Aguilar had 21 points, six rebounds and six steals for the Mustangs in the Orange Coast League game Tuesday.

WHITTIER — Jake Comer had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Mustangs in the nonleague game as part of the MLK Classic at Pioneer High Monday.

Jordan Walden added nine points for Costa Mesa (13-5), which plays host to Calvary Chapel Wednesday at 7 p.m.

CORONA DEL MAR — Pippa Saunders and Cassidy Papa each had three goals for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League game Tuesday at CdM.

Ally McCormick and Diana Murphy each scored twice for CdM (15-1, 5-0 in league), which has reclaimed the top spot in the CIF Southern Section Division I coaches’ poll following Saturday’s Santa Barbara Touranment of Champions win.

Alex Musselman and Erica Weed combined for 11 saves for CdM, which plays host to Northwood on Thursday.
