SIOUX CITY, Iowa — Senior Jamie Heenan had 29 kills for the Lions, but Lee of Tennessee won the NAIA Championship pool-play match, 23-25, 22-25, 25-20, 25-20, 15-11, Wednesday.
Senior KaUwila Lavea had 11 kills for Vanguard (22-14), which fell to 0-2 in pool play.
The Lions play in their final pool-play match Thursday against Morningside of Iowa.
