VENTURA — Samantha Hansen had 18 points and Helena Robel added 14 for the Pirates in the semifinals of the Ventura Tournament on Wednesday at Ventura College.

Amanda Deal had 10 points for OCC (12-5), which saw San Bernardino Valley (13-1) score the final five points in the last 19 seconds.

OCC plays either Southwestern or Ventura for third place today at 4 p.m.
