All-League boys’ volleyball honors for Sage Hill, Ocean View, Los Amigos
Sage Hill’s Larimer is a first-team pick
Sage Hill School senior Shane Larimer made the All-Academy League first team in boys’ volleyball for helping the Lightning to a third-place finish in league.
Sage Hill (10-14, 5-5 in league) lost at Long Beach St. Anthony in the first round of the CIF Southern Section Division 4 playoffs.
Sage Hill junior Logan Senn and senior Josh Lee, and Brethren Christian junior Evan Garner were selected to the second team.
The Warriors finished 1-15 overall and 0-10 in league.
Sage Hill senior Ryan Shean and Brethren Christian senior Parker Hoppes made the honorable mention list.
Crean Lutheran senior Tanner Petchul senior was the Academy League MVP.

Ocean View’s Miller makes first team
Ocean View High sophomore setter Hunter Miller garnered first-team All-Golden West League accolades in boys’ volleyball.
The Seahawks went 9-17 overall and tied for last place in league at 1-9.
Ocean View senior outside hitter Pablo Ramirez and junior middle blocker Jacob Lizardi were named to the second team.
Santa Ana senior Jose Avila, Orange senior Charlie Bautista and Westminster junior libero Derek Truong shared the Golden West League MVP award.

Los Amigos’ Kidwell on second team
Los Amigos High senior libero Kobe Kidwell made the All-Garden Grove second team in boys’ volleyball.
The Lobos finished 1-18 overall and in last place in league at 1-9.
Bolsa Grande’s Jimmy Nguyen and La Quinta’s Anton Ta shared the Garden Grove League MVP award.
