WOMEN’S SOCCER

Vanguard 2, Biola 0

Madison Lopp and Jessica Taukeiaho scored one goal each for the Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference match on Tuesday.

Haley Bruce had an assist on Taukeiaho’s goal in the 43rd minute. Goalie Kaycee Smith made five saves for Vanguard (10-4-1, 4-2-1 in conference).

Biola (11-2-3, 5-1-2) outshot the Lions, 11-10.

MEN’S GOLF

Bill Cullum Invitational

SIMI VALLEY — UC Irvine sophomore David Kim shot three under par in the final round Tuesday and finished 58th in the 54-hole event at Wood Ranch Golf Club.

Kim’s 69 on Tuesday game him a 225 three-round total as UCI finished 15th as a team.

UCI freshman Jefferson Kao was 43rd at 222 to also stand out for the Anteaters.

WOMEN’S CROSS COUNTRY

Bronco Invitational

SUNNYVALE — Vanguard University freshman Keili Dorn finished 16th to pace the Lions on Saturday at Santa Clara University.

Dorn completed the 6,000-meter course in 22 minutes, 41.3 seconds, a personal best.

MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY

Bronco Invitational

SUNNYVALE — Vanguard University junior Zach DeAtley led the Lions on Saturday at Santa Clara University.

DeAtley finished 84th in 25 minutes, 27.9 seconds.

The Lions were sixth in the six-team event.

MEN’S WATER POLO

Cal 12, UC Irvine 10

BERKELEY — Kyle Trush scored three goals to lead No. 7-ranked Anteaters in a Mountain Pacific Sports Federation game against the No. 3 Bears on Sunday.

Lovre Milos, Ryan Warde and Matt Skinner scored two goals each for UCI (11-6, 1-2 in the MPSF).

Luca Cupido, a Newport Harbor High product, led Cal with three goals.
