High School Roundup: Sage Hill girls’ volleyball upends St. Margaret’s

Junior Jamie Dailey recorded 19 kills to lead the Lightning to a big 17-25, 25-23, 25-11, 25-10 Academy League win on Friday.

Junior Emily Lassiter added 12 kills and sophomore Jade Blevins contributed 41 assists and three aces for Sage Hill (10-9, 5-1 in league).

St. Margaret’s entered the match ranked No. 1 in the CIF Southern Section Division 3AA poll. The Lightning was ranked No. 4.

Estancia 16, La Quinta 5

Kyle Fitzgerald, Jason Chesemore and Cobi White scored three goals each for Estancia in the nonleague game on Friday.

Goalie Eizik Leyva made six saves for Estancia (7-11).
