Golden West def. Orange Coast

Kaitlynn Biard led the Pirates with 14 kills, but the Rustlers won, 25-22, 25-21, 25-17, in an Orange Empire Conference matchup.

Danyelle Brown added six kills and 14 digs for OCC (10-4, 2-3 in OEC). Alisa Ricciardi led the OCC defense with 20 digs, while Katie Duhoux added 17. Setter Measha Lindstrand dished out 30 assists.

For the Rustlers (7-6, 3-2), Cassidy Paperny led the way with 16 kills and three blocks.

Alex Karlowitsch scored for the Anteaters in the 71st minute in the Big West Conference match on Friday at UCI.

Grayson Galbraith provided the asssist for UCI (5-8-1, 1-2-0 in conference).

Cal State Fullerton is 11-2-1, 3-1-0.

The Titans had built a 2-0 lead. The teams were tied for shots, 9-9.

UCI goalkeeper Corey Tobin made three saves.
