GARDEN GROVE — Natalie Petreault had 12 kills and three blocks to help lead the Mustangs to a 25-17, 23-25, 25-22, 25-15 nonleague win Wedensday.
Lisa Perlin had 10 kills and three aces, Cat Kircorian had eight kills and three aces and Kintka Keaju amassed 28 assists for Costa Mesa (3-1).

CERRITOS — Maddy Abbott had 27 assists and eight aces to lead the Lightning to a 25-7, 25-16, 25-4 Academy League win Wednesday.
Halland McKenna (two aces) and Emily Lassiter had eight kils each for Sage Hill (9-3, 4-0 in league), ranked No. 1 in CIF Southern Section Divison 3AA.
The Lightning play host to Brethren Chirstian Friday.

Corona del Mar 15, Woodbridge 3
The Sea Kings swept in doubles for the seventh time this season in Tuesday’s Pacific Coast League match at home.
Riley Gerdau and Siena Sharf won 6-2, 6-1, 6-1 for Corona del Mar (8-2, 2-0 in league). Taylor Fogarty and Camellia Edalat won, 6-2, 6-1, 6-4, while Erica Chen and Paige Kenerson won 6-1, 6-1, 6-1.
Jasie Dunk and Shelby Anderson each won twice in singles for CdM, while Elena Fish and Bella Gerken won one set each.
CdM, ranked No. 5 in CIF Southern Section Division 1, plays at No. 7 Los Alamitos on Wednesday in a big nonleague match.

Junior Jenn Kingsley swept in No. 1 singles play, losing only two games, helping the Sailors to their first Sunset League win at home on Tuesday.
Nicole Knickerbocker, playing No. 2 singles, won her three sets for Newport Harbor (5-4, 1-1 in league).
The Sailors’ No. 3 doubles team of Courtney Howarth and Elle Zielinski won three sets.
Newport Harbor plays host to Huntington Beach on Thursday at 3 p.m.

SANTA ANA – Eden Steel swept at No. 2 singles for the Eagles in the Orange Coast League match at Saddleback Wednesday.
Andrea Ponce and Mikaela Soriano swept at No. 2 doubles for Estancia (5-5, 2-1 in league).

IRVINE — Jaclyn Gerschultz swept at No. 1 singles for the Lightning in Tuesday’s Academy League match at Irvine Valley College.
Sage Hill (5-3, 2-0 in league) also swept in doubles behind the teams of Marina Anderson and Isabella Deckey, Maya Byrd and Crystal Yu, as well as Tess Alexander and Abby Ruck. Alexander and Ruck won, 6-0, 6-0, 6-0.
Celine Wang won twice at No. 2 singles for Sage, while Amira Tarsadia and Lauren Fishman also won singles sets.
Sage Hill, ranked No. 6 in CIF Southern Section Division 2, plays on the road against rival St. Margaret’s on Friday.

FOUNTAIN VALLEY – Grace Ferrell shot one-under-par 35 to lead the Sailors to the Sunset League win Tuesday at Mile Square Golf Course.
Lillia Vu, bound for UCLA, made eagle on the final hole to shoot 34 and finished as the medalist.
Tehya Corona (39), Madison Fernandez (44), Hannah Knapp (47) and Teanna Herrera (47) also scored for Newport Harbor (9-2, 4-1 in league).
