Corona del Mar High won the title Friday night at Woodbridge High.
Raquel Powers (17:57), Jacqueline Choe (18:28), Lilly Schmidt (18:54), Hannah Crane (18:55), Gigi Lee (19:18), Madi Greenberg (19:46), Erika Anderson (20:10) contributed to the victory. Their placings were not reported.

LAS VEGAS – Newport Harbor High went 1-2 during the first day of action on Friday.
The Sailors (3-8) opened against Las Vegas Coronado, which won the match, 25-10, 28-30, 25-22.
Newport Harbor then defeated Las Vegas Faith Lutheran, 25-17, 25-20.
Notre Dame of Belmont, Calif. ended the Sailors day with a 27-25, 25-21 loss.
Remy Wilson led Newport Harbor with 40 kills in the three matches. Amanda Walker (21 kills), Jaclyn Brown (18 kills), Ellie Hagadorn (83 assists and six digs) and Kate Hefner (20 digs) also contributed for the Sailors, who compete in consolation play on Saturday.

Corona del Mar 190, Beckman 197
Amy Matsuoka shot one-under-par 34 to earn medalist honors for the Sea Kings in the Pacific Coast League match at Newport Beach Country Club Thursday.
Celine Niu (36), Alyaa Abdulghany (36), Gabby Finear (38) and Sarah Reynoso (46) also scored for CdM (6-0, 2-0 in league).

SANTA ANA — Estancia lost twice on Friday.
Jason Chesemore led the Eagles with eight goals when Laguna Hills won, 14-11. Kyle Fitzgerald added three goals.
Chesemore and Fitzgerald scored three goals each for Estancia (1-6) in its 17-8 loss to Santa Barbara. Goalie Eizik Leyva made 11 total saves.
Estancia competes in consolation play Saturday morning.
