Corona del Mar High senior outside hitter Ryan Moss, senior opposite Kevin Fults and junior setter Matt Ctvrtlik made All-CIF Southern Section Division 1 in boys’ volleyball, and CdM’s Steve Conti was the Coach of the Year in the division.

The three players and coach led the Sea Kings to their 13th straight Pacific Coast League title, a CIF Southern Section Division 1 runner-up finish, as well as back-to-back CIF State Southern California Regional Division II championships. The quartet helped CdM (31-7, 10-0 in league) finish perfect in league for the 10th consecutive year under Conti.

With Conti at the helm, the Sea Kings made their 11th section finals appearance in 20 years. No. 3-seeded CdM lost to No. 1 Huntington Beach in five sets in the finale.
