SAN DIEGO — Yale-bound goalie Hoyt Crance made eight saves, helping the Sea Kings, ranked No. 1 in the state by laxpower.com, improve to 8-0 after beating No. 3 Torrey Pines on the road Friday.
Chad Redfearn, Hugh Crance, Brian Leguay and Jordan Pakzad played well on defense.
The Sea Kings are at No. 20 San Jose Bellarmine Prep on Tuesday at 3:30 p.m.

Reese Stalder swept at No. 1 singles for the Sailors, improving to 32-0 this season in the Sunset League match Thursday at Newport Harbor High.

Ryan Moss had eight kills and two aces, Sam Kobrine seven kills and two aces and Steven Guder 13 assists for CdM (14-4, 4-0 in league).
