Girls’ Volleyball: Tars’ Grove to Concordia

Newport Harbor High senior setter Logan Grove has committed to the Concordia University women’s volleyball team, said Sailors Coach Dan Glenn.

“I’m very excited for her,” Glenn said in a text message. “She’s a great all-around player.”

Grove said she also plans to play for Concordia’s sand volleyball team.

Grove helped Newport Harbor place fourth in the Sunset League and qualify for the CIF Southern Section Division 1AA playoffs as an at-large team last season. The Sailors finished 14-14 overall and 6-4 in league.
