Corona del Mar High junior Maddie Musselman is the Pacific Coast League MVP in girls’ water polo for the second straight year.

Musselman is joined on the all-league first team by her CdM co-captain, senior attacker Eliza Britt, as well as senior attacker Grace Morgan, junior center Bridgett Storm and junior goalie Heidi Ritner.

Musselman, who has since de-enrolled from CdM to train full-time with the U.S. senior women’s national team, led the Sea Kings with 98 goals, 58 steals and 37 assists. The 2013-14 Newport-Mesa Player of the Year, Musselman helped CdM finish 10-0 in league to capture their 16th straight league title. The Sea Kings went 23-7 overall, returning to the CIF Southern Section Division 1 semifinals after missing them last season before falling to top-seeded eventual champion Laguna Beach.
