The Newport Aquatic Center rowing program took part in the Fault Line Face-off Invitational, a major regatta that brings crews together to compete from all over California.

The race was held on the San Pablo Reservoir in Orinda, Calif., and allowed crews to compete in multiple races against different opponents in order to establish an early season ranking.

Both the novice girls and boys won the Novice “A,” while the boys won the freshmen event. The wins by both crews established them as the top teams in the southwest region.
