With the approach of the Special Olympics World Games Los Angeles 2015, the Host Town of Newport Beach is hosting a Launch Party presented by Newport Beach Sunrise Rotary. The party will be held Tuesday, starting at 5:30 p.m. at The Back Bay Bistro at the Newport Dunes Resort and Marina.
The event will include dinner, live entertainment, silent auction, sponsorship opportunities and supporters of the Special Olympics. City Council members and community leaders are expected to attend.
“This event will unite the community and will enthusiastically announce and welcome the countries of Mexico and Fiji,” Steve Bender said in a release. He’s the Co-Chair of Newport Beach Host Town Committee, Special Olympics World Games LA 2015. “We thank you for the shared commitment, enthusiasm and support of the Host Town program designed to enrich the lives for the athletes participating in the World Games.”
