Seven-on-seven football training camp features pros
Costa Mesa-based 7-On-7 Training Academy is hosting a football combine and camp for athletes 13 years and older to train with former and current NFL players at Fullerton College on March 28.
Former pros expected to appear are Sherman Cocroft, who played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Vince Ferragamo, a quarterback with the Los Angeles Rams, and Shar Pourdanesh, an offensive lineman with Washington, and the current pros are Mychal Rivera, a tight end with the Oakland Raiders, Andre Hardy, a tight end on the Arizona Cardinals’ 10-man practice squad last season, and Nick Johnson, a wide receiver.
The combine and camp runs from 8 a.m. to 1:45 p.m., with registration between 8 and 9. The camp includes a lineman challenge at the end. Every participant will receive a free T-shirt and water will be provided.
