College Roundup: Hagger leads OCC men’s basketball to win
MEN’S BASKETBALL
Orange Coast 66, Santa Ana 64
Davasyia Hagger scored on a layup at the buzzer to lead the Pirates to their Orange Empire Conference win Thursday.
Hagger scored 22 points and grabbed 15 rebounds.
Deion Page added 17 points and seven rebounds and Ahmon Metdals scored nine points for OCC (8-14, 6-4 in conference).

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Vanguard 77, Arizona Christian 34
Riley Holsinger and Amber Alexander led the No. 9-ranked host Lions in the Golden State Athletic Conference game Thursday.
Holsinger produced 22 points, eight rebounds, six assists, six steals and one blocked shot, while Alexander had 18 points and 15 rebounds.
Samantha Doucette Had 15 points and Maya Kennedy added 11 for the winners (17-5, 9-3 in conference. Doucette surpassed 1,000 points in her career.
Arizona Christian is 5-20, 1-11.

Nicole Beaudoin scored 28 points to lead the Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference game Thursday.
Jasmine Matar (16 rebounds) and Kelcie Mayott (11 rebounds) added 13 points each for OCC.

MEN’S TENNIS
Orange Coast 6, Mt. San Antonio 3
John Lieu’s 6-1, 6-3 win at No. 1 singles was a highlight for the Pirates in the nonconference match Thursday.
Darren Dinh won 6-1, 6-1 and No. 4 singles. Lieu and Dinh teamed for a 9-7 win at No. 1 doubles for OCC (5-0).

James McLellan went two for three with a run batted in for the Pirates in the nonconference game Thursday.
OCC (7-4) was outhit, 15-6.
Long Beach is 7-4.
