High School Roundup: Estancia boys’ soccer blanks Calvary

SANTA ANA — Luis Millan, Kevin Pizarro and Daniel Segura all scored for Estancia in Friday’s Orange Coast League game at Centennial Regional Park.

Pizarro’s goal was a penalty kick for Estancia (12-3-3, 3-1-2 in league), which also got assists from Brandon Mendes and Bryan Torres.

Jaime Pedraza made two saves for Estancia, which plays at Laguna Beach on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m.

Newport Harbor 5, Los Alamitos 3

LOS ALAMITOS — Senior midfielder Alan Alcantara scored twice for the Sailors in Friday’s Sunset League game on the road.

Brandon Varela had a goal and two assists for Newport Harbor, and Marlon Nava had a goal and an assist. Jose Garfias also scored, with David Bernal recording an assist.

Newport Harbor (8-9-3, 2-5 in league), which has won two straight league games, plays host to Marina on Wednesday at 5 p.m.

Los Alamitos 60, Newport Harbor 37

LOS ALAMITOS — Nate Harding had nine points for the Sailors in Friday’s Sunset League game on the road.

Colin Pipkin added eight for Newport Harbor (10-14, 3-3 in league), and Garrett Davis pulled down 15 rebounds.

The Sailors play host to Marina on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
