SAN DIEGO — Seniors Emily Krebs and Alexa Mamatas scored for the Sea Kings in a pool-play game of the Butch Lee Memorial Classic at Cathedral Catholic High Friday.

Krebs scored off an assist from sophomore Birkley Sigband. Mamatas headed in a corner kick from senior Annie Alvarado.

CdM (3-0) ranked No. 8 in CIF Southern Section Division 1, plays against Carlsbad in pool play Saturday morning at Cathedral Catholic.

Costa Mesa 55, Savanna 28

ANAHEIM — Danielle Obong scored 14 points for the Mustangs in a pool-play game of the Fairmont Prep tournament Friday.

Rachel Witter added 12 points for Costa Mesa, which plays in the third-place game on Saturday.

ANAHEIM — Celia Duran scored 17 points for the Eagles, who closed out pool play in the Loara tournament Friday.

Maya Van Den Heever added 13 points for Estancia (4-3), which plays in the third-place game on Saturday.

ANAHEIM — Freshman Jasmyn Winters scored seven points in varsity debut for the Sailors, who close out pool play at the Loara tournament Friday.

Juniors Jennifer Lopez and Bela Raimondi scored five points each for Newport Harbor (1-6), which will play against Magnolia in a consolation game on Saturday.
