ANAHEIM — Senior Rashad Davis had 13 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Eagles, who opened their season in the first round of pool play at the Godinez Invitational at Loara High on Tuesday.
Chad Fackler added four points and six assists for the Eagles, who play Wednesday against Irvine at Loara at 7:45 p.m.

WESTMINSTER — Senior guard Jordan Walden finished with 18 points in the Mustangs’ game in the consolation bracket at the La Quinta Shootout on Tuesday.
Saaeed El-Assadi contributed 14 points and seven rebounds for Costa Mesa (1-1).
The Mustangs resume tournament play on Thursday at 8 p.m.

BUENA PARK — Senior Chance Beauchamp scored 17 points to lead the Sailors in their Buena Park tournament pool-play game and season opener Tuesday at Buena Park High.
Junior Kevin Rakestraw had 14 rebounds for Newport Harbor (1-0), which plays against Sante Fe Thursday at 4:30 p.m. in another pool-play game.
