ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Daman Starring scored 20 points and Michael Wilder had 19 points for the Anteaters in the Great Alaska Shootout at Sullivan Arena in Anchorage Friday.
Will Davis II grabbed a career-high 11 rebounds and Wilder had 10 rebounds for UCI (0-5).
Central Michigan is 3-2.

COSTA MESA — Christopher Kupets had 21 points, including the game-winning jumper with five seconds for the Lions in the Thanksgiving Classic game Friday.
Christopher Raybon added 13 points, while Chris Pynch had 11 points, and Cameron Nettles and William Thompson scored 10 points each for Vanguard (4-3).
Concordia of Oregon is 3-2.

GLENDORA — Will Ligon led the Pirates with 21 points in a Neil Edwards Classic game at Citrus College Friday.
Dario Rahming and Jo Jo Trinidad scored 14 points each, while Jason Payne had 13 points and Mikey Molina had 10 points for OCC (2-3).
San Diego City is 5-3.

Oregon 89, UC Irvine 77
OREGON — Kassandra McCalister scored a career-high 29 points for the Anteaters in the Global Sports Cage Classic game Friday.
Jazmyne White added 15 points and Methlyn Onogomuho had 10 opints for UCI (1-5).
McCalister, a senior guard for the Anteaters, was eight for 16 from the floor, including four three-pointers as well as 9-10 from the free throw line for her career-best 29 points. She also led UCI with seven rebounds and added four assists and two steals in 28 minutes of action. Her 29 points ties Jacquelyn Marshall for the most points scored in a game this season.
Oregon is 5-0.
UC Irvine takes on Weber State Sunday at 11:30 a.m. in Oregon.

Cal 15, UC Irvine 9
LOS ANGELES — Three Anteaters scored two goals each for the seventh-seeded Anteaters against No. 2 Cal in a quarterfinal game of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Tournament at UCLA’s Spieker Aquatics Center Friday.
With the loss, UCI (15-12) will face Pepperdine in a consolation semifinal Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
Brian Pickford, Max Parrague and Jacob Mourer scored two goals each.
Cal is 21-3.
