COSTA MESA – Jamie Heenan finished with 22 kills for the Lions, but Westmont won, 25-23, 25-22, 22-25, 20-25, 15-9, in a Golden State Athletic Conference match Tuesday.

Lisa Morgan recorded 15 kills and 27 digs for Vanguard (13-13, 5-12 in conference).
