COSTA MESA – Alejandro Lopez recorded a goal Wednesday to help the fifth-ranked Lions remain unbeaten through eight matches this season.

Ryan Kenney and Kyle O’Brien each had a goal in the Golden State Athletic Conference match for Vanguard (7-0-1, 2-0 in conference).

Goalkeeper Trevor Herrera made one save in the shutout.

COSTA MESA – Danielle Dintino scored a goal and assisted on another for the sixth-ranked Lions in a Golden State Athletic Conference match on Wednesday.

Goalkeeper Chelsea Lesniak had three saves in the shutout for Vanguard (7-1-2, 1-0-1 in conference).

Ivana Mendez and Annamarie Tedeschi had one goal apiece.

The Lions will play host to Hope International Saturday at 3 p.m.
