Laguna’s Duncan to represent U.S.
The United States Tennis Assn. has announced the 24 players who will represent the United States at the inaugural International Tennis Federation Young Seniors World Team Championships, which starts Monday at Antalya, Turkey.
Stuart “Ross” Duncan of Laguna Beach is one of the 24 American athletes will be competing against players from 25 other countries.
The ITF Young Seniors World Team Championships is the highest-ranked event on the ITF Seniors Circuit for male and female players in the age categories of 35-45. Duncan has been named as captain for the Italia Cup (men’s 35-and-over) American team that also includes Marcio Pepe (Laguna Hills), Matthew Jacobs (Sarasota, Fla.) and Joshua Scholfield (Collegeville, Pa.).

Lewis races to two wins in GTA class
Michael Lewis of Laguna Beach earned two victories last weekend at Circuit of The Americas in the GTA class of the Pirelli World Challenge at Austin, Texas.
Lewis won Race 1 and Race 2 in the GTA class, which competes in the same event as the GT, GTA, and GT Cup classes, and finished fifth and ninth overall, respectively, among a field of 48 cars.
Lewis is part of the Young Driver Development Program with Porsche Motorsport North America and competes in the GTA class. He joined 47 other drivers for practice March 6 and ended the session sixth-fastest, overall, and second-fastest in the GTA category.
