Brethren Christian’s Khoa Le named to All-Express League first team in boys’ soccer

The Brethren Christian High boys’ soccer team had senior goalkeeper Khoa Le represent it among the first-team All-Express League selections.

Warriors center junior midfielder Jason Tran and junior right back Ilan De La Cruz earned spots on the second team, and junior forward Cameron Wilhite was an honorable mention.

Brethren Christian went 1-9-1 overall and 1-7 in the league, finishing in last place.

Downey Calvary Chapel sophomore forward Eliab Carrera was named the Express League Player of the Year. The Grizzlies (5-12, 4-4) were the third-place team in the league.

Joachim Aldaba was named the Coach of the Year after leading St. Michael’s Prep (8-4-2, 5-3) to second place.

Fairmont Prep (12-4-1, 8-0) was the league champion.
