H.B. police seek suspected bank robber
Huntington Beach police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed a U.S. Bank on Friday.
At 2:15 p.m., the man entered the bank at 19900 Beach Blvd. and demanded cash, claiming to have a weapon. The employee at the counter cooperated, and the man fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, according to a Police Department release.
Surveillance photos show a white male wearing a yellow polo shirt, tan shorts, dark sandals, sunglasses and a black visor. Police said he appears to be 40 to 50 years old and about 195 pounds.
The man was last seen running west across Beach, according to the release. No suspect vehicle was seen.
