H.B. police seek bank robbery suspect
Huntington Beach police said Tuesday that they are looking for a man suspected of robbing a grocery store bank.
About 10:24 a.m. Monday, a man approached the Wells Fargo Bank counter in the Ralphs store near Garfield Avenue and Goldenwest Street and passed a note to a teller demanding money, a news release said.
He made off with an undisclosed sum of cash, the release said. The FBI and the Huntington Beach Police Department are investigating.
Police are asking that anyone with information about the incident call Det. G. Kim at (714) 536-5955, the department’s tip line at (714) 375-5066 or Orange County Crime Stoppers at (855) 847-6627.
