House fire causes damage but no injuries
No one was injured in a house fire on Louise Street in north Laguna on Monday, according to a Laguna Beach fire news release.
Twenty-one firefighters from both Laguna Beach and Newport Beach responded to a single-story house fire in the 1600 block at 7:30 a.m. and found all occupants safely outside, the release said.
Firefighters contained the blaze in 18 minutes and kept it from spreading to adjacent houses.
The fire caused about $350,000 in damage to the structure, and $30,000 in lost items, according to the release.
The fire’s cause is under investigation, and anyone with information that may assist authorities should contact Laguna Beach fire at (949) 497-0700, the release said.
