Hoag Hospital’s annual benefit movie screening will grace a new venue — and sport a new name — when it takes place for the 26th year Wednesday.

The Summer Movie Classic, presented by the Hoag Hospital Foundation’s 552 Club, will show Michael Curtiz’s 1942 Oscar-winner “Casablanca” at the Hangar at the OC Fair & Event Center. Previously, the event was known as the Movie Screening and it was held at the Edwards Big Newport 6 at Fashion Island.

Proceeds from the event will go to Hoag’s campuses in Newport Beach and Irvine.

“We are excited to present this reimagined Summer Movie Classic in our new venue with one of Hollywood’s most celebrated classic films and so many great restaurants,” co-chairwoman Sheri Horn said in a news release. “This will be a night to remember for all who attend in support of Hoag and the patients and communities they serve.”

In addition to the screening, the event will feature tastings from more than 30 Orange County restaurants. The tastings begin at 5 p.m., with the screening at 7:30.
