The Orange County Great Park is rolling out free fitness classes on Saturdays in June.

The “Great Park in Motion” series kicks off this Saturday at the Terraced Lawn.

The outdoor routines begin at 7 a.m. with Health Walking, which is led by A Snail’s Pace Running Academy coaches. Traversing flat surfaces, this class is recommended for students of all ages and includes lessons on the health benefits of an active lifestyle.

Up next is Cross Training with PayanX at 8 a.m. Entrants, looking for high-intensity, functional movement in a team setting, must be older than 16.

This is followed at 9 a.m. by Power Yoga — a blend of breathing, movement and music for an intense workout. CorePower Yoga, which is in charge of the class, requires guests to be 12 or older.

Participation in all four weekly sessions leads to inclusion in a special prize drawing at 10 a.m. June 29, at which winners must be present. Prizes include running shoes from A Snail’s Pace Running Shop, a one-month membership to CorePower Yoga, a Lululemon yoga mat, reusable water bottles and others.

Admission and parking are free for these Great Park events, at Sand Canyon and Marine Way. Participants are encouraged to bring water, sunscreen and a towel. All classes are weather permitting.
