AREA 1

North Coast Highway and Irvine Cove Drive: A caller reported a man walking in and out of traffic at 1:28 p.m. Saturday. The caller described the man as a white male, 60 years old, wearing a blue shirt and dark navy pants.

La Brea Street: A caller reported a pink beach cruiser was stolen from a garage in the 200 block at 7:49 p.m. Monday. The caller said the bike has no gears and a wicker basket on the front.

AREA 2

Club Drive: A caller reported his car was vandalized at Club Laguna in the 300 block at 2:37 p.m. Monday. The caller said his red Infiniti G37 was keyed on both sides.

AREA 3

Park Avenue: A caller reported someone playing loud music at Chantilly Ice Cream in the 200 block at 2:40 p.m. Saturday.

South Coast Highway: Police arrested a man for stealing items from Ralphs in the 700 block at 12:13 p.m. Sunday. The caller said the man wore a blue jacket, tan pants and held a sleeping bag.

El Camino Del Mar and Glenneyre Street: Police stopped and advised a skateboarder for wearing no helmet at 12:48 p.m. Sunday.

Forest Avenue and Glenneyre Street: Someone reported seeing a man taking photos of young children at 4:59 p.m. Sunday. The caller reported the suspect as a white male, 50 to 60 years old, wearing a black hat, black sweatshirt and black pants.

Ramona Avenue: A caller reported a tall white man checking all the door handles on parked cars in the 600 block at 6:04 p.m. Sunday. The caller reported the man was partially bald and wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and jeans.

Tahiti Avenue: A caller reported a high school band was playing loud music from a house in the 1500 block at 9:37 p.m. Sunday.

Skyline Drive: A caller reported a trench digging machine was sticking out into the road in the 1000 block at 5:35 p.m. Monday.

AREA 4

Nyes Place and Coast Highway: Police arrested a man for drinking in public at 7:43 p.m. Saturday.

Meadowlark Drive: A caller reported $700 worth of items stolen from a house in the 900 block at 10:54 a.m. Sunday. The caller thinks the person entered through the garage side door.

Catalina Street: A caller reported a hit-and-run in the 2100 block at 3:40 p.m. Sunday. The caller said a blue Subaru Outback had a damaged driver’s-side door.

AREA 5

10th Avenue and Sunset Avenue: A caller reported items stolen from her vehicle at 3:35 p.m. Saturday. Items taken included a purse and wallet. The caller believes the suspect entered the car through the sunroof.

Bluff Drive: Two callers reported seeing 15 to 20 people heading to West Street Beach with a lot of beer at 8:04 p.m. Saturday. One caller reported seeing a huge bonfire on the beach.

Camel Point Drive: A caller reported four juveniles trespassing in the 31200 block at 8:54 p.m. Saturday. The caller suspected the juveniles had marijuana.
