AREA 1
North Coast Highway: At 11:07 a.m. Monday a caller in the 1400 block reported receiving 18 sexually explicit phone messages.
Broadway Street: Drinking in public was reported in the 300 block at 1:30 p.m. Monday. The caller said three males and one female at a bus depot were drinking and had a bag of marijuana.
Circle Way: A sea lion was seen near a cave at 10:42 a.m. Saturday. The caller said the animal may be sick.
Crescent Bay Drive: An unknown type of bird covered with tar was reported in the 200 block at Crescent Bay Park at 2:06 p.m. Saturday.

AREA 3
Forest Avenue: A caller reported a podium and heater were blocking the caller’s store in the 300 block at 5:27 p.m. Saturday.
Ocean Avenue: Loud music was reported in the 200 block at 1:49 p.m. Monday. The caller said a white male with a red hat was playing a guitar with an amplifier. The caller from Wells Fargo Advisors reported customers were complaining. The guitar player left the site.
South Coast Highway: A man outside a Taco Bell restaurant in the 600 block was reportedly trying to start fights with passersby at 11:28 a.m. Saturday. The store manager said the man moved into the dining area and bothered customers.
South Coast Highway: A hit-and-run was reported at the Holiday Inn in the 600 block at 9:49 p.m. Saturday. The caller said the suspect’s vehicle, a gray Chevrolet Impala, hit a black Ford Focus. The caller said a male driver and female passenger were inside the Impala.
South Coast Highway: A caller reported a man with a dog refused to leave a restaurant when asked in the 600 block at 10:31 a.m. Sunday.
Mystic Way: A road bike, bag of clothes and CDs from two unlocked vehicles were stolen in the 500 block at 11:47 a.m. Sunday. The value of items taken was estimated at $3,200.

AREA 4
Glenneyre and Brooks streets: Five juveniles were reported skateboarding at 5:20 p.m. Saturday.
Glenneyre Street: Several subjects were reported sleeping in an area in the 300 block at 7:46 p.m. Saturday.
Morningside and Bluebird Canyon drives: A black Chevrolet pickup truck reportedly had been parked near the intersection for five days. The caller said the vehicle’s owner often leaves the vehicle in the street for weeks at a time.
Bluebird Canyon Drive: A caller reported a briefcase and other items were stolen from inside a car in the 1500 block at 9:54 a.m. Sunday. The caller reported the door lock was broken.
Bluebird Canyon Drive: Two vehicles in the 1600 block were reported as broken into and items stolen from them at 1:24 p.m. Sunday. The two vehicles were a Ford F150 truck in the driveway and a Honda Civic parked at the curb in front of a house. The caller reported money, a cell phone and a charger were stolen.
Gaviota Drive: Vandalism was reported in the 1200 block at 9:32 a.m. Monday. The caller reported that someone cut off and destroyed a lock box.

Coast Highway: A female reportedly assaulted a nurse in the 31800 block at 1:35 p.m. Sunday. The caller said security was with the suspect in the emergency room.
