AREA 1

Warner Avenue: A vehicle theft was reported in the 6700 block at 11:16 a.m. Saturday. The caller reported someone stole their Toyota Camry between 9 p.m. and 11 a.m. despite it being locked.

Govin Circle: Grand theft was reported in the 6400 block at 4:50 p.m. Saturday. The caller said his .357 pistol with a three-inch barrel was missing from their dresser. They’d last seen it a month ago.

Lennox Drive: Burglary was reported in the 6500 block at 2:46 p.m. Sunday. The caller reported someone had broken into their office and safe and taken a fax and copy machine, laptops, cash and keys.

AREA 2

Warner Avenue: Petty theft was reported in the 6800 block at 4:35 p.m. Friday. The caller reported someone had taken a bunch of car wash and wax items — valued at a total of $40 — and ran into a Silver Ford Taurus getaway car.

Slater Avenue and Beach Boulevard: A stolen vehicle — a white Honda — was reported at 7:16 p.m. Friday.

Sagewood Drive: Petty theft was reported in the 7700 block at 10:24 a.m. Saturday. The caller said someone had taken a package from their doorstep sometime Monday or Tuesday.

AREA 3

Alcazar Lane: A burglary was reported in the 21300 block at 9:33 a.m. Friday. The caller reported approximately $2,500 in cash and a ring had been taken from their home.

Orange Avenue: Identity theft was reported in the 1700 block at 1:34 p.m. Friday. The caller reported he learned of the theft when he went to buy some cell phones.

Pacific Coast Highway: Grand theft was reported in the 300 block at 2:58 p.m. Sunday. The reporting party said someone had taken their gray and pink Gary Fisher mountain bike after cutting their lock. The total loss was valued at $1,200.

AREA 4

Inverness Lane: A burglary was reported in the 19700 block at 1:28 p.m. Friday. A caller reported she came home after work to find her house had been broken into and taken an undisclosed amount of money. Responding officers found the point of entry was through the back-door window, as its frame had been busted, took a report and learned the reporting party’s son, who lives there, broke into the house to get some clothes.

Magnolia Street: A man was arrested at 5:06 p.m. Friday after he was reportedly caught attempting to steal some items from a Home Depot. The manager recovered the items and took him to the loss prevention office until officers responded.

Greenwich Drive: Grand theft was reported in the 9400 block at 4:19 p.m. Saturday. The caller said someone had stolen jewelry from their room.

Janaca Circle: Petty theft was reported in the 10200 block at 3:34 p.m. Monday.

Magnolia Street: Vandalism was reported in the 18000 block at 6:56 p.m. Monday.

Warner Avenue: Forgery was reported in the 8800 block at 7:06 p.m. Monday.

AREA 6

Sequoia Street: Identity theft was reported in the 16500 block at 2:10 p.m. Saturday.

Los Jardines and Slater Avenue: A coyote was spotted at 10:30 a.m. Monday.

Lilac Avenue and Harbor Boulevard: A stolen vehicle was reported at 4:20 p.m. Monday.
