Bradford Wayne Wilson passed away comfortably in his home in Costa Mesa, California on November 29, 2012 after his courageous battle with cancer. He was 73 years old. Born on January 26, 1939 in Brisco County Texas. Son of Charles and Glenna Wilson. Survived by wife Nancy Jo Wilson, daughter Heather Michele Calder, son Kyle Kenneth Wilson as well as grandchildren Logan James Calder and Nicklaus Bradford Wilson. Brad was a noted assistant golf teaching professional at Stardust C.C. in San Diego, California during the 1960’s & 1970’s where he also wrote many articles for Golf Digest. He played briefly on the P.G.A. tour during that time. He later became owner and operator of The Book Store in Costa Mesa, California for over 20 years. He was devoted to his faith and family. We will be celebrating his wonderful life and memories on Monday December 3, 2012 at 2PM at Harbor Lawn-Mt. Olive Cemetery 1625 Gisler Ave. Costa Mesa, CA. Those attending are asked not to wear dark clothing, as Brad wanted this to be a joyous celebration of life.
