Viola Isabel Miller Geiger
Viola Isabel Miller Geiger passed peacefully into the Lord’s arms on November 7, 2012 at the age of 94. She was born Dec. 17, 1917 in Northampton, PA to Roy and Edna Miller. After graduating from high school, she worked for a dentist and then held other retail bookkeeping positions until her marriage to Marvin R. Geiger on August 8, 1943. They lived several months in California before Marvin left for World War II military service, at which time Viola returned to Pennsylvania and began her lifelong role as a loving mother and faithful wife. Over the first decade of their marriage they welcomed four daughters into the family, and she is now survived by Gail Ochs, Barbara Rischitelli, Linda McDevitt and Janis Thomas, three sons-in-law, eleven grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. After Marvin’s retirement, they moved to Brooksville, FL where they continued their love of golfing until Marvin’s death in 1998. Viola moved to Corona del Mar, CA for the last nine years of her life and enjoyed many family activities. She will be interred at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL with her husband.
