March of Dimes closes Fashion Island streets

Streets around Fashion Island will be closed this weekend for the March of Dimes March for Babies Walk, according to Newport Beach Police.

San Nicolas Drive from Newport Center Drive east to Avocado Avenue will be closed to through traffic from 4 p.m. Saturday to Sunday afternoon.

From 5 to 11 a.m. Sunday, roads surrounding Fashion Island and Newport Center will be closed for the walk.

Parking is available in the two parking structures at Santa Rosa and Center drives.
