Arson suspected in carport fire
COSTA MESA—Detectives suspect arson in the case of a carport fire that damaged five vehicles Sunday morning, police said Monday.
Emergency crews were called to the 700 block of Victoria Street at 4:46 a.m. to investigate a fire that totaled two vehicles and damaged three others, Sgt. Ed Everett said on Monday.
No one was injured in the blaze and investigators are still looking for a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call the Costa Mesa fire department investigations unit at (714)754-5106.
