Anita Lee Sherwood (MacMaster)
Born November 13, 1916 in Pomona, California.
Died December 8, 2011 in Laguna Hills, California.
Beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother. Anita Lee was educated at Anaheim High School and the University of Southern California in the 1930’s. In 1940 she married Charles Thomas MacMaster and together they raised their family on Balboa Island and in Newport Beach. For 50 years she and her Mother-in-law (Edna MacMaster) owned and operated the Edna MacMaster Dress Shop in downtown Fullerton and another in the Disneyland Hotel.
She is survived by her son Tom MacMaster of Rancho Mirage, son Bill MacMaster (Jiffy) of Newport Beach and Grandson Scott MacMaster (Jenny) and Great Granddaughter Samantha MacMaster of Newport Beach.
Anita Lee was a loving mother who cared deeply for her family. She will be dearly missed.
A private family service will be held at sea off Balboa.
