Origins reopening in South Coast Plaza
Editor’s note: This corrects the day the new store opened.
COSTA MESA — Interactive technology and a fresh store design will arrive at Origins South Coast Plaza on Thursday for the store’s reopening, according to a store press release.
The re-opened skin care store will feature a new touch-screen wall unit. The technology will “focus on bringing Origins ‘Nature’s Laboratory’ to life while promoting product discovery and education that foster an interactive in-store consumer experience,” according to the press release.
To celebrate the opening, an in-store concert will take place at 6 p.m. by the all-male a capella group, Straight No Chaser.
In addition, Origins will plant a tree for each event attendee, as part of Origins Global Earth Initiatives. Since the 2009 launch of the company’s Plant-A-Tree Campaign in partnership with Global ReLeaf, Origins has planted more than 98,000 trees worldwide.
