Marty Hartsock, vice president and branch manager of Farmers & Merchants Bank, was given the Athena Award by the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce for the contributions she made for women in her community, according to a news release.

“Marty has exemplified the behind-the-scenes commitment, character and counsel to women that embodies the true spirit of the Athena Award,” chamber Chairman Dennis Gallagher said in the release.

Among the many ways Hartsock serves is mentoring students from Ocean View High School. She is also a partner of the National Assn. of Women Business Owners in Orange County and volunteers for the Huntington Beach Relay for Life, the release stated.
