Disaster victims invited to meeting
The city of Laguna Beach and local service groups will hold a special meeting at 1 p.m. today at City Council Chambers, 505 Forest Ave., for those needing assistance as a result of the recent rainstorms and flooding.
City Manager John Pietig issued the following statement Wednesday:
“Laguna Beach residents that are victims of the rain storms and flooding and are seeking assistance with shelter, food, clothing or cleanup are invited to speak with local service groups. The Laguna Relief and Resource Center will be in attendance along with Mayor Toni Iseman and other City Council members. Other local service organizations are also being invited to discuss the services they can provide.”
