Public Works cleaning water system
Residents could be seeing discoloration in their water next week as the city begins routine maintenance on the water distribution system.
The discoloration is only expected to affect residents from Garfield Avenue to Pacific Coast Highway as the Public Works’ utilities division begins a water main flushing program.
The program is expected to begin Tuesday and will continue over the next four months Tuesdays through Fridays.
The water discoloration is only temporary and not harmful, officials said.
Any questions should be directed at the utilities division at (714) 536-5921.
