Harvest fun for Olive Crest kids
Wine lovers will raise their glasses Saturday at a gala in Newport Beach to benefit a nonprofit that helps abused and neglected children.
“Harvesting Hope for the Olive Crest Kids,” from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Big Canyon Country Club, will feature a wine tasting, cooking demonstrations from country club chefs, and live and silent auctions.
Proceeds will benefit the nonprofit Olive Crest’s Project Independence, a program that provides foster youth, ages 15 to 24 years old, with support and training to become independent adults.
Individual tickets cost $195. Sponsorships ranging from $1,000 to $25,000 are also available at www.olivecrest.org/hhk.
