COSTA MESA RESIDENT TRAVELS TO BANGALORE, INDIA WITH HABITAT FOR HUMANITY’S GLOBAL VILLAGE PROGRAM

Costa Mesa, California - Davi Wilson and her son Robert of Costa Mesa will be traveling to Bangalore, India to participate in a Habitat for Humanity Global Village volunteer work team from 7/24/10 - 8/7/10. Wilson, along with other volunteers, is joining in an effort to help eliminate poverty housing worldwide.

Habitat for Humanity’s Global Village program gives volunteers the hands-on opportunity to help build simple, decent housing in communities around the world. Global Village volunteers experience another culture as they build houses and hope.

Native Californian and Costa Mesa residents for the past 12 years, Wilson first participated in a Habitat for Humanity Global Village team in 2007 and had an immediate connection with the program and its mission. Since 2007, Wilson has been on Global Village teams to Hungary, Portugal and Guatemala.

Habitat for Humanity International is an ecumenical Christian ministry that welcomes to its work all people dedicated to the cause of eliminating poverty housing. Since its founding in Americus, GA., in 1976, Habitat has built more than 350,000 houses worldwide, providing simple, decent and affordable shelter for more that 1.75 million people.
