Teeter promoted at Pacific Life

Philip Teeter of Laguna Beach has been promoted to senior vice president of the technology and operations, annuities and mutual funds division of Pacific Life Insurance, President and Chief Executive James T. Morris announced.

The promotion will be effective April 1.

Teeter joined Pacific Life in 1998 as assistant vice president of the technology for the annuities and mutual funds division.

Promoted to vice president in 2000, his responsibilities include providing strategic and tactical guidance and direction for the division’s technology resources as well as helping set short and long-term objectives for the division.

In his new role, Teeter will be responsible for both the technology and operations departments in the annuities and mutual funds division, a reflection of the increasing collaboration and partnership between these key areas.

He received a bachelor’s degree from San Jose State University.
