Equality speaker slated at church

JOY Ministry (Justice Outreach and You) of Neighborhood Congregational Church and Pacific Shore NOW (National Organization of Women) will host an evening of conversation about equality at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 25, at the church, 340 St. Ann’s Drive.

Zoe Nicholson, author, activist and president of Pacific Shore NOW, will discuss the Equal Rights Amendment, Restore 2010 (the grassroots campaign to repeal Proposition 8 and legalize same-sex marriage in California this year) and HJ Res 61 (proposing an amendment to the U.S. Constitution relative to equal rights for men and women).
