IRVINE — Chad Delaney scored 19 points for the Pirates in the Orange Empire Conference game Wednesday night.

The Lasers (17-3, 2-2 in conference) outscored OCC, 8-2, in overtime. Jake Fedro and Alvin Jackson scored 13 points each, while Chris Williams had 11 points for the Pirates (8-12, 2-3).

Joe Eberhard, a Corona del Mar High product, was one of three Lasers to score 13 points. Travis Fulton led IVC with 19 points and 16 rebounds. The Lasers outrebounded the Pirates, 57-29.

IRVINE — Freshman Amanda Deal made three three-pointers and finished with 11 points in the Pirates’ Orange Empire Conference game Wednesday night.

Samantha Hansen was only other OCC player in double figures. The freshman had 10 points.

The Pirates (14-9, 2-3 in conference) trailed, 32-21, at halftime. They shot 53.3% from the free-throw line (eight of 15) and turned the ball over 20 times.

OCC plays host to Fullerton next Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
