Time to ring in 2010

Before it’s time to begin eagerly checking off the health and lifestyle improvements you have scribbled at the top of your New Year’s resolution list, bid 2009 adieu with one last evening of festive debauchery. Many restaurants in Laguna Beach will offer delectable cuisine specials, copious amounts of bubbly and live entertainment.  Mozambique, 1740 S. Coast Hwy., will rock into the New Year with two holiday parties. Downstairs, a Masquerade Disco Ball to benefit the Mauli Ola Foundation, will be from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m., and will feature “The Brothers from Another Mother,” prizes and complimentary masks and champagne. Cost is $20 at the door. Upstairs, the Shebeen Lounge will feature two dinner offerings.
