SANTA ANA — Samantha Hansen came off the bench to lead the Pirates with 12 points in the quarterfinals of the Santa Ana Thanksgiving Tournament Friday.

Amanda Deal added 11 points, while Jenna Lujan and Tiffany Monteiro scored eight points each for OCC (3-2).

The Pirates will face San Bernardino Valley in the semifinals today at 5 p.m.

GLENDORA — Jake Fedro had 13 points and 10 rebounds for the Pirates in the first round of the Neil Edwards Classic at Citrus College Friday.

Loren McLean added 10 points, while Landon Brown and Brandon Gee scored nine points each for OCC (3-2), which plays against Mt. San Antonio today at 7 p.m.

LOS ANGELES — Tom Kruip and Brandon Johnson scored two goals each for the No. 6-seeded Anteaters in a quarterfinal game of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championship Tournament at USC Friday.

Junior goalie Matt Johnson recorded eight saves for UCI (15-12), which is ranked No. 6 in the nation this week.

UCI faces UC Santa Barbara in a fifth-place game today at 11 a.m.
